CAME ATS30AGS Swing Gate Motor Oman, 230V Telescopic Motor for 3 m Leaves
The CAME ATS30AGS, CAME code 801MP-0050, is a 230V irreversible telescopic swing gate motor with an encoder, for leaves up to 3 metres and 400 kg. It draws 250 W, gives 400 to 3000 N of thrust, opens to 90 degrees in 15 seconds and is rated for 20 cycles an hour with an IP54 rating. A double gate needs two motors and a control board, which we quote with it. Supplied and fitted across Oman by Doors Auto.
Description
The CAME ATS30AGS, CAME code 801MP-0050, is a 230V irreversible telescopic swing gate motor with an encoder, for gates with leaves up to 3 metres long and 400 kg. A telescopic motor is a ram that extends and retracts to push and pull the leaf. It opens to 90 degrees in 15 seconds, is rated for 20 cycles an hour and carries an IP54 rating.
Two points come first. A double gate needs two motors and a control board, so we confirm how many motors your price covers. And CAME gives a maximum pillar offset of 200 mm, so we measure your pillars before we quote.
CAME ATS30AGS price in Oman and what you are buying
Price: OMR 414.000, in stock at our Muscat shop. Installation is quoted separately once we have seen the gate.
The supplier does not say what is in the box, so we do not call this a kit until we have confirmed it. CAME itself sells the motor in two kits, and the table shows what each one contains.
| Item | CAME kit 8K01MP-023 | CAME kit 8K01MP-026 |
|---|---|---|
| Motors | Two ATS30AGS | One ATS30AGS and one 801MP-0090 with a remote release predisposition |
| Control panel 002ZA3P | 1 | 1 |
| DIR10 photocell pair | 1 | 1 |
| AF43S radio card, 433.92 MHz | 1 | 1 |
| Remote | One 806TS-0310, four channel fixed code | Two 806TS-0270, four channel rolling code |
| LED flashing light and wall base | KLED and KIAROS base | 806LA-0030 lamp and 806LA-0040 base |
| Antenna cable, 5 m | None | 1 |
Not in either: an electric lock, a safety edge and the cabling to your supply. We tell you plainly which parts we supply.
3 m leaves and 400 kg: is the CAME ATS30AGS right for your gate
CAME rates the motor for a leaf up to 3 metres and 400 kg. Its limits table appears to allow a heavier leaf if it is shorter, with about 600 kg at 2.5 m and 800 kg at 2 m. The table has no labels, so we confirm the figure for your leaf before we quote.
| Leaf length | Weight CAME appears to allow |
|---|---|
| 3 m | 400 kg |
| 2.5 m | 600 kg |
| 2 m | 800 kg |
For leaves up to 5 m, we suggest the CAME ATS50AGS. We ask for the weight and the length of each leaf, and we allow for wind on solid sheet.
Telescopic swing gate motor: pillar offset and opening angle
A telescopic motor sits on the pillar and pushes the leaf with a ram. It needs the pillar and the hinge to sit at the right offset. CAME gives that offset as the C dimension, up to 200 mm, and lists openings of 90 and 120 degrees.
| What we measure | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| The pillar offset to the hinge | CAME allows up to 200 mm |
| The mounting height and bracket position | Sets the ram angle and the force |
| The opening angle you need | CAME shows 90 and 120 degree openings |
| Space for the ram when it is fully extended | Decides whether it clears the wall or the pillar |
Send photos of both pillars with a tape across the offset and the depth, and we confirm the fit before you order.
250 W, 15 seconds and 20 cycles an hour on the ATS30AGS
CAME lists 250 W and 1 A on a 230V supply. The opening time to 90 degrees is 15 seconds, and the thrust is 400 to 3000 N, a range that the control board sets for your gate. The duty is 20 cycles an hour, which CAME calls medium intensity use, about one full open and close every three minutes.
| Your site | Our advice |
|---|---|
| A single family villa | More than enough |
| A villa with staff and deliveries | A good match |
| A busy office or compound | Check your peak count first |
Irreversible gearmotor and encoder on the CAME ATS30AGS
An irreversible gearmotor cannot be pushed back from outside, so the leaf stays shut when the motor stops. CAME fits an encoder, so the board knows where the leaf is, slows it near each end and reacts to an obstacle. CAME also tests the automation against European impact force standards.
A tall, solid or wind exposed leaf may still benefit from an electric lock, which we quote where it is needed. In a power cut the leaf is released with the manual release, so keep the key where you can reach it.
CAME control boards, CONNECT and safety for the ATS30AGS
CAME’s kits use the 002ZA3P panel, and its page also names three other 230V boards. We choose one for your gate.
| CAME board | What it is |
|---|---|
| 002ZA3P | Multifunction panel for double leaf gates, in CAME’s kits |
| 801QA-0110 | Basic panel, listed with the motor |
| 801QA-0120 and 801QA-0130 | Panels with CXN BUS and encoder support, listed with the motor |
CAME also describes CONNECT remote control and a snap in card slot for the RIO System 2.0. Photocells stop the gate closing on a car or a person, and a flashing lamp warns people before it moves. CAME lists DLX and DXR photocells and EDG safety edges as related products.
CAME ATS30AGS remotes: the TOP44RBN and the fixed code handset
CAME’s kits include two different remotes. The 806TS-0270 is the CAME TOP44RBN, a four channel rolling code remote on 433.92 MHz, and the 806TS-0310 is a four channel fixed code remote. A fixed code is easier to copy, so we recommend the rolling code handset for a site where security matters.
A CAME receiver pairs only with CAME handsets, so Somfy, BFT and Nice remotes cannot pair with it. We programme the handsets to the board, and we can add more.
CAME ATS30AGS, ATS50AGS or ATI A3000: choosing a 230V swing motor
You may be comparing our 230V CAME swing motors. The table shows only what CAME publishes.
| CAME ATS30AGS | CAME ATS50AGS | CAME ATI A3000 | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Type | Telescopic | Telescopic | Not stated by CAME |
| Longest leaf and weight | 3 m and 400 kg | 5 m and 400 kg | 3 m and 400 kg |
| Power | 250 W | 250 W | 260 W |
| Opening time to 90 degrees | 15 seconds | 20 seconds | 19 to 25 seconds |
| Duty | 20 cycles an hour | 20 cycles an hour | 24 cycles an hour |
| Protection rating | IP54 | IP54 | IP44 |
The ATS30AGS opens faster than the ATS50AGS but takes a shorter leaf, and it has a higher protection rating than the ATI A3000. Ask us to compare them for your gate. See the CAME ATS50AGS and the CAME ATI A3000.
230V only: the CAME ATS30AGS and power cuts
CAME lists this motor as a 230V gearmotor, and names no battery board for it. It runs on mains power, and a power cut leaves the leaf where it stopped, held by the irreversible gearmotor. We release it with the manual release and keep the key where you can reach it. If a battery backup matters to you, ask us, and we point you to a 24V swing motor.
IP54, heat and sand: the CAME ATS30AGS in Oman
IP54 protects against dust and splashing water. The motor works from minus 20 to plus 55°C and has thermal protection at 150°C. The grey RAL7024 finish suits most gates. We mount the motor clear of standing water and seal the cable entries. Coastal sites in Sohar, Sur and Salalah add salt, which attacks pivots first, so keep the hinges greased.
