Somfy control board: Dexxo Pro 1000 and Elixo 500 800

We stock two replacement control boards. The Dexxo Pro 1000 RTS board is for a Somfy Dexxo Pro garage door opener, and the Elixo 500 800 230V RTS board is for the matching Elixo sliding gate motors. Each fits specific models only, so we check the code on your original board before you order.

The Elixo 500 800 board is for the 230V motors. It does not suit the 24V Elixo 500 3S, and the Elixo 2000 is not listed on it. A new board arrives with no remotes stored, so we pair every handset again when we fit it. See the Somfy remote controls for spares.

Somfy photocell: Master Pro Bitech or Reflex PMP12

A photocell stops the gate or door closing on a car, a person or a pet. We stock two, and they work differently.

For a standard villa gate with a post on each side, the Master Pro Bitech is usually enough. For a wide opening, a wall on one side or a harsh, wet or dusty site, the Reflex is the stronger choice. Both are wired parts, and we check your control board before we fit either.

Somfy gate warning lamp: orange blinker light

The orange blinker light flashes while the gate or door moves, so people nearby see it by day and by night. It is not a safety stop, and it works together with the photocells. The lamp must match the voltage of your control board’s lamp output, so we confirm that, and whether the lamp carries the radio aerial, before we sell it.

Somfy Elixo limit switch for sliding gates

The spring limit switch tells a sliding gate motor where to stop. Somfy lists it for the Elixo 500, 800 and 2000 230V RTS motors. The supplier describes it as a genuine part in one place and a compatible spare in another, so we confirm which one you receive before you pay. Fitting means setting the gate’s end positions again, which our engineers do.

Somfy RTS receiver: when do you need one

Somfy RTS motors in our range have the receiver built in, so most customers do not need one. The RTS receiver is for a device that has no Somfy radio of its own, such as a gate on another brand’s board. It may let Somfy handsets or the TaHoma hub run that gate, but it depends on the outputs, so we confirm the wiring first.

Somfy smart home hub in Oman: the TaHoma Switch

The Somfy TaHoma Switch runs Somfy RTS and io homecontrol devices from one app, with timers, scenes and voice control. RTS is a one way radio, so the app can send the command to a gate but cannot confirm that it has moved. Keep the photocells fitted, and we confirm your motor works with the hub before we sell it.

Which Somfy accessory do I need for my gate?

Tell us the symptom and the motor model. A gate that overruns needs a limit switch check, a gate with no response may need a control board, and a gate that closes on a car needs a photocell.

What do Somfy accessories cost in Oman?

Parts run from OMR 23.000 for a photocell, a limit switch or a warning lamp to OMR 96.000 for the TaHoma Switch hub. Control boards cost OMR 70.000 and OMR 72.000, and fitting is quoted separately.

Which Somfy photocell should I buy?

Choose the Master Pro Bitech for a standard gate with a post on each side. Choose the Reflex PMP12 for a wide opening, one sided mounting or a harsh site, because it has a 12 m range and an IP67 rating.

Will Somfy accessories work with a BFT or Nice gate?

No. Somfy parts are made for Somfy motors and control boards, and Somfy RTS handsets cannot pair with BFT, Nice or Came equipment. Send us your motor model and we confirm.

Can I replace a Somfy control board myself?

We advise against it. The board sits beside mains parts and sets the limits and the safety functions of the gate. Our engineers fit it, pair your remotes and test the safety before they leave.
