Description

The ACM 12C055 control board in Oman is the electronics box, not the motor. It takes the mains in, switches the motor, and holds the settings. When a shutter stops answering its remote, the board is one of the first parts we test.

What the board actually does

The ACM 12C055 has four jobs. It switches the motor, listens to the handset, reads the safety inputs, and holds the operating logic. A rolling shutter control board is what turns a motor into an automation.

The radio receiver is built into the board. That is why a new board means pairing every handset again, and why a failed receiver and a failed board are the same repair.

Matching the board to your motor

Every ACM 12C055 we stock is the same unit. Send a photo of your old board and the motor label and we confirm the match. A shutter control unit has to suit the motor it drives.

Which ACM motors it fits

This is the board for the central range. That covers our ACM central motor kit line, from the 140 Nm up to the 420 Nm. Any ACM shutter motor in that range takes this board.

A side motor is wired differently. If you run the TITANSIDE 600, send a photo first.

Fitting a replacement board

Isolate the mains first. We move the wiring across core by core, set the logic, then pair the handsets again.

Old codes do not carry over to a new board. An ACM shutter motor that ran before will run again once the limits are checked.

Common questions

Is this the board or the motor?
The board. An ACM 12C055 control board is a shutter control unit on its own. The motor is separate.

Can it run more than one shutter?
This board drives one motor. ACM make centralised versions for several shutters together, so tell us how many and we will confirm which you need.

What are the operating logics for?
They decide what a button press does. Step by step, two semi automatic modes, and a condominium mode for shared entrances. We set it on site.

Can I connect photocells and a safety edge?
Yes. There are inputs for both. On any shutter that comes down over a doorway, fit them.

Will my remotes still work?
Not until they are paired to the new board. Bring every handset you want to keep, or they will be left behind.
