Choose the motor by the weight of the moving leaf, with a margin. A motor that runs near its limit all day wears out early.

If your gate weighs close to a limit, step up to the next motor. A larger motor runs cooler and lasts longer on the same gate. The gate must also roll freely by hand before any motor drives it.

Nylon or steel rack for an 800 kg sliding gate

The kit includes a 4 metre nylon rack. The rack must run along the full length of the gate leaf, so a longer gate needs more rack, joined in line. The photocell pair in the kit is Bluebus, CAME’s own bus system. It suits CAME boards. Photocells from another brand are not assumed to connect.
