The BFT ATHOS AC A25 is a 230V swing gate motor kit built for double leaf gates up to 700 kg, with each leaf up to 2.5 metres. It is sold as two motors, one for each leaf, along with the control board and the accessories needed to commission a working gate.

Before ordering, check one thing this page exists to prevent. The rated 300mm rod stroke and 110 degree opening angle only work with enough pillar depth behind each leaf. Measure that before the motors arrive, not after.

BFT ATHOS AC A25 pillar depth, checked before the motor arrives

An arm mounted operator needs clearance from the hinge to the inside pillar face so the arm can travel through its full stroke. On this model that stroke is 300mm, driving a 2.5 metre leaf to a maximum 110 degree opening.

A shallow pillar stops the gate short of that angle or fouls the arm against the pillar face, regardless of the motor’s power.
