BFT swing gate motors for two leaf gates

PHOBOS, KUSTOS and ATHOS cover the swing side, sized by leaf length and weight rather than total gate weight. The pillar depth matters as much as the leaf, because a deep pillar limits how far the gate can open before the arm fouls.

BFT gate barriers in Oman for car parks and compounds

The MOOVI series covers boom lengths for compound entrances and car park lanes, and heavier BFT barriers handle high traffic commercial sites. Barrier choice is driven by boom length and by cycles per hour, not by the width of the road.

BFT garage door openers

BOTTICELLI covers sectional and up and over garage doors, sized by door area and weight. It is the part of the BFT range most Oman suppliers skip entirely, which is why replacements are usually quoted as a full door system by someone who does not stock the opener.

BFT control boards and spare parts

This is the section worth knowing about before you replace a whole motor. We stock BFT control boards including ALENA SW2 and ALPHA BOM, limit switches, rotating plate and arm holder kits, nylon and steel rack in module 4, and photocells.

A gate that hums but will not move, one that runs one way only, or one that has stopped learning remotes is very often a board or a limit switch, not a dead gearbox. BFT Mitto remote controls

Mitto is BFT’s transmitter line, running 433.92 MHz rolling code. RCB02 and RCB04 are the two and four button versions, and Mitto Cool C2 and C4 are the newer styling of the same thing.

Rolling code means a Mitto will not pair with a fixed code receiver from another system, and a cheap copy remote will not clone it. That is a security feature, not a fault. Order matching units from remote controls, and if you want coded or card access rather than shared handsets, look at access control.

How to choose between BFT gate motors

Four numbers decide it, and none of them is the brand name.

• Gate weight. Treat every published rating as a ceiling, not a target. A gate that sticks by hand will not run better under a motor.
• Gate leaf length. This sets the rack you need on a slider, and rack runs the full leaf, not the opening width.
• Duty. A villa gate opening four times a day and a compound gate opening a hundred times need different duty classes.
• Voltage. BT for 24V and battery backup, AC for 230V mains only.

Wind matters too. A solid sheet infill gate catches wind like a sail and that load lands on the pinion, so size up rather than sit on the limit where the gate is solid rather than barred.
