Description
The ACM 260Nm rolling shutter motor is a central motor that sits inside the shutter tube. It is rated at 260 Nm of torque, which lifts a curtain of around 210 kg. We stock the ACM rolling shutter motor in Oman at our shop in Al Khuwair, Muscat.
Torque is the number that matters
The 260 Nm rating is the motor. The 210 kg figure comes from that torque acting on a normal barrel diameter.
Change the barrel and the weight it lifts changes with it. Send us the tube size and the curtain weight and we will confirm the match.
Central motor or side motor
A central motor fits inside the roller tube and stays out of sight. That suits shopfronts where the headroom is tight and looks matter.
A side motor bolts to the end of the tube instead. It handles heavier curtains but needs room beside the shutter.
Where an ACM rolling shutter motor is used
Shopfronts, showrooms, workshops and warehouse openings. Any shutter that gets used several times a day.

What happens in a power cut
A shutter with no manual release traps stock behind it. Check the override before you order, not after.
Most central motors take a crank or a chain. Tell us whether the shutter is an escape route and we will specify accordingly.
Fitting an ACM rolling shutter motor
The motor slides into the tube and locks against the end plates. Limits are set once the curtain is hung.
Set the down limit first with the curtain closed. Then run it up and set the top before you fit the box.

It depends on the tube diameter. Measure the inside of the barrel and we will check it.
Can I add a remote?
