The motor runs at 24 V, fed from a 230 V, 50 or 60 Hz mains supply through the control board. It draws up to 170 W and pushes with 350 N of thrust. The speed is 12 metres a minute, so a gate that opens 4 metres takes about 20 seconds.

A 350 N thrust suits a light gate on good rollers. A gate near the 400 kg limit that sticks or has a worn track will struggle. We check the gate rolls freely before we fit.

Rack for a 400 kg gate: four nylon racks and the run you need

The kit includes four nylon racks. The listing does not give their length or the pinion module, so we confirm the total run and the module with CAME. The rack must run along the whole leaf, so a longer gate needs more, joined in line. The rack and the pinion must share a module, or they will not mesh.

At 400 kg a nylon rack is usually adequate, and we confirm its rating for your gate. A gate that is heavier than it looks, or sees heavy use, may deserve steel.

433.92 MHz radio, AF43S card and four channel remotes

The listing gives the radio as 433.92 MHz, with an AF43S radio card, a TOP-A433N antenna and two four channel rolling code remotes. The remote memory is not stated. A CAME TOP handset pairs with it. Somfy, BFT and Nice remotes cannot pair, because each brand uses its own coding.
