The BFT KUSTOS BT A40 twin kit is the complete two motor version of BFT’s KUSTOS BT A40 swing gate operator, for double leaf gates up to 500 kg with each leaf up to 4 metres. It includes both motors plus the control board and accessories needed to commission the gate.

Not included: safety edge, additional remotes beyond the two supplied, and battery backup, which this standard kit does not support. A safety edge and extra handsets come from accessories and remote controls.

Does this BFT KUSTOS BT A40 listing include one motor or two?

Two. This is the complete twin kit, including both motors, the THALIA board, photocells, flashing light, remotes and fixing brackets.

What is the difference between this kit and the single motor KUSTOS BT A40 listing?

This kit includes two motors and all commissioning accessories. The single motor listing is one operator only, for replacing a failed unit on an existing gate.

What is the difference between KUSTOS BT A40 and KUSTOS Ultra BT A40?

Nearly identical mechanically. Ultra is built to accept battery backup, sold as a separate pack, which the standard KUSTOS BT A40 does not support in the same way.

What is the price of the BFT KUSTOS BT A40 twin kit in Oman?

OMR 270.000 for the complete kit. In stock in our Muscat shop, with installation quoted separately once we have seen the gate.

Does the BFT KUSTOS BT A40 need a floor stop?

No. Its magnetic limit switch and adjustable mechanical stops define the open and closed positions without one.

Can I order just one motor if only one side of my gate has failed?

Yes. Order the single motor KUSTOS BT A40 listing instead of this twin kit, since buying the full kit would duplicate accessories you already have.
