What’s included

The unit ships with connection terminals, mounting accessories and a manual. Locks, readers, controllers, exit buttons and cabling are quoted separately. We also stock RFID thick cards for the readers this unit powers.

Installing the access control power supply

Mains wires into the AC input. The lock wires to the 12 V output. Choose the NO or NC terminals to match your lock, since fail-safe magnets and fail-secure strikes wire differently.

Set the release delay on the onboard timer, then test with the exit button before closing the enclosure.

Common questions

Will 3 A be enough for my lock?
Check the current draw printed on your lock, then add the reader and exit button. The K80 supplies 3 A in total.

Can I run two doors from one unit?
Only if the combined draw stays under 3 A. Separate supplies are usually better, because a fault on one door then cannot take out the other.

Does it work on Oman mains?
Yes. The input range covers 110 to 240 V AC, so no step-down transformer is needed.

What does the release delay do?
It holds the lock open for a set time after a valid card or exit button press. You can adjust it from 0 to 15 seconds.
