The BFT HAMAL 600 control board is the genuine replacement circuit board for a standard BFT DEIMOS BT A600 sliding gate motor. Before ordering, check one thing that trips up more buyers than any other spec on this page.

This board does not fit a DEIMOS ULTRA BT A600. Both operators are rated for 600 kg and both carry the A600 name, but they use different boards entirely. The standard DEIMOS uses this HAMAL 600 board. The ULTRA uses a MERAK SL2 board. They are not interchangeable.

Open the operator cover and read the model printed on the existing board, or the code on the motor’s own rating plate.

If you are not sure, send us a photo of the board or the rating plate before you order. Fitting the wrong board is a wasted trip and a wasted part.

Why a BFT gate motor control board fails before the gearbox does

DEIMOS gearboxes are mechanically simple and generally outlast the electronics. The board carries the mains supply, the receiver, the safety inputs and the low voltage side in one place, so heat, damp and voltage spikes reach it first.

Fitting a BFT sliding gate control board is electrician work

This is a bare 230V board. Mains, the operator feed, photocells, the safety edge and the receiver land on removable terminal blocks that have to match the old wiring exactly, and a miswired safety input can leave a gate that looks armed but is not.

We replace these ourselves and test D-Track sensing and the safety edge with the gate under load before we sign it off.

Does the BFT HAMAL 600 control board fit a DEIMOS ULTRA BT A600?

No. The standard DEIMOS BT A600 uses this HAMAL 600 board, and the ULTRA BT A600 uses a different board, the MERAK SL2. Check the code on your existing board before ordering.

What is the price of a BFT DEIMOS control board in Oman?

This HAMAL 600 board is OMR 62.000. Prices vary by operator, the HAMAL 400 and HAMAL ARES boards are priced separately on their own pages.

How do I know if my DEIMOS BT A600 needs a new control board?

A gate that hums without moving, runs one direction only, has stopped learning remotes, or reverses immediately after opening is almost always a board fault rather than a dead gearbox.

Is the safety edge included with the BFT HAMAL 600 control board?

No. The board has an 8K2 safety edge input, but the sensor strip itself is ordered separately from our accessories range.
