Description

The BFT Mitto 4 button remote is a four channel handset that operates BFT gates, barriers and garage doors on 433.92 MHz with rolling code security. It runs on one 12V 23A battery and suits BFT sliding gate motors, swing gate motors, parking barriers, garage doors and rolling doors, once the receiver has memorised it.

Two checks come first. BFT sells two button handsets as RCB02 and four button handsets as RCB04, and some suppliers label them inconsistently, so count the buttons on the handset you need. Also, four buttons only help if your receiver has four channels.

Each button is a channel, and each channel must be memorised to a receiver output. A control board with a two channel receiver answers only two of the four buttons. The other two do nothing until an extra receiver is added.

BFT remote for gate and garage door: rolling code and memorising

Every press sends a new code, and the receiver accepts only the next code it expects. A cloning remote cannot copy it, and a fixed code receiver will not accept it. That is the security working, not a fault.

Can a universal remote copy a BFT Mitto 4 button remote?
