Before anything else: this motor runs on three phase power only. There is no single phase version. If your premises has a standard household or shopfront supply, this is not the motor for it, and no wiring will change that.

The SP3500 locks the gate with a powerful electric brake rather than relying on gravity or friction once it stops. On a 3500 kg leaf, that matters more than it does on a lighter gate, because an unlocked heavy leaf can drift on a slope or in wind.
