Description
The Nice RUN2500 is a 2500 kg sliding gate motor from the professional Nice RUN series, sold as a complete kit with the Nice RUA2 control unit, two Nice ON2E remote controls, an OXI receiver, a pair of photocells, a flashing light and a push button. It is a 230V warehouse gate motor for the heaviest gates we automate: factories, logistics yards, industrial parks and high security sites in Oman, on a single gate or a double sliding gate.
With the master and slave function, two RUN2500 motors drive two leaves that meet in the middle of a very wide entrance.

The rack is not part of the kit. A gate of up to 2500 kg needs a heavy steel rack, which we supply and fit to suit the gate length.

The Nice RUA2 control unit
The Nice RUA2 control unit sits inside the motor and gives the RUN2500 the functions an industrial site needs:

On a large gate the partial opening is used many times a day: guards and staff walk through a gap of a metre or so while the rest of the gate stays shut. With the Nice RUA2 control unit, the pause before automatic closing is set to suit the site.
Double sliding gate with two RUN2500 motors
A very wide entrance is often closed with two gates that meet in the middle. Two RUN2500 motors, linked by the master and slave function on the Nice RUA2 control unit, open and close a double sliding gate together, so both leaves move as one. Each leaf can be up to 2500 kg, and the remotes and photocells work for both.
A double sliding gate also halves the length each leaf travels, so the entrance opens faster and needs less space along the wall.

How we install a 2500 kg sliding gate motor
- We check the gate first: wheels, track, top guides and end stops must carry 2500 kg safely before any motor goes on.
- We cast a reinforced concrete base, level and in line with the gate, with conduits for the cables.
- We fix the motor and a heavy steel rack, with the pinion set just below the rack so the gate weight never rests on the motor.
- We set the limit switches, and fit the photocells, flashing light and push button.
- We pair the ON2E remotes, set the partial opening on the RUA2, and test every photocell while the gate closes.
