Description
The Nice RBS400 (kit code Nice RBS400BDKCE) is the newest Robus 400 from Nice: a 24V gate motor kit for sliding gates up to 400 kg and 8 m, with a magnetic limit switch, a built in MCU1 controller and rolling code radio. The kit includes two Nice MYGO4 remote controls, a pair of EPMB BlueBUS photocells and an ELDC LED flashing light with antenna.
This 24V gate motor kit replaces the older RB400. The main changes are the magnetic limit switch, which needs no brackets on the rack, and the MYGO4 remotes with rolling code.

Note the two weights. The motor is rated for gates up to 400 kg, and is recommended for gates up to 200 kg. For daily use in the Oman heat, we follow the recommended figure where we can.
Magnetic limit switch: why it matters
A limit switch tells the motor where to stop at the open and closed ends. Older motors use brackets bolted to the rack that press a lever. The Nice RBS400BDKCE kit uses a magnetic limit switch instead.

In Oman, where sand gets into everything at ground level, a magnetic limit switch removes one of the most common causes of a gate that runs past its stop.
Nice MYGO4 remote and BlueBUS safety
Each Nice MYGO4 remote has four buttons, so one remote can open the gate, a garage door and more. The kit radio uses rolling code at 433 MHz, which changes the signal every press so it cannot be copied.
The EPMB photocells connect on Nice BlueBUS, two wires shared by all safety devices, and reach up to 30 m. The ELDC flashing light has its antenna built in, which helps the range of the Nice MYGO4 remote.
Every extra Nice MYGO4 remote we add is paired to the same 24V gate motor kit in minutes, so each family member, driver or tenant can have their own, and a lost remote can be removed without changing the others.

How we install the 24V gate motor kit
- We cast a concrete base, level and in line with the gate, with conduits for the cables.
- We fix the motor and set the pinion just below the module 4 rack, so the gate weight never rests on the motor.
- We fit the magnets for the magnetic limit switch at the open and closed positions.
- We fit the EPMB photocells and the ELDC flashing light on the BlueBUS line.
- We pair both MYGO4 remotes, run the learning cycle and test the photocells while the gate closes.
