CAME TWIN Remote Control Oman, 2 or 4 Channel Key Code 433.92 MHz
The CAME TWIN is a 433.92 MHz remote control with a key code, made for apartment blocks and shared gates, in a two channel version (001TW2EE) and a four channel version (001TW4EE). CAME describes the key code as a password that protects the handset from being duplicated without authorisation. Supplied across Oman by Doors Auto, with your receiver checked for TWIN coding before you buy.
Description
The CAME TWIN remote control is a 433.92 MHz transmitter series with a key code, made for multi user settings such as apartment blocks and shared gates. It comes in two versions, the two channel 001TW2EE and the four channel 001TW4EE. CAME describes the key code as a password that protects the remote from being duplicated without authorisation.
Two points come first. A TWIN handset pairs only with a receiver that supports TWIN coding, so we check your receiver before you buy. And you choose between two and four channels, so tell us how many gates or functions you need.
CAME TWIN model codes: 001TW2EE and 001TW4EE
The two handsets share the same case, battery, range and frequency. The channel count is the difference.
| 001TW2EE | 001TW4EE | |
|---|---|---|
| Channels | 2 | 4 |
| Frequency | 433.92 MHz | 433.92 MHz |
| Key code function | Yes | Yes |
| Battery | Two CR2016 lithium | Two CR2016 lithium |
| Size, wide by high by deep | 32 x 68 x 13 mm | 32 x 68 x 13 mm |
We read the code printed on the remote when you collect it, so you know exactly which version you have.
CAME TWIN remote control price in Oman and what is in the box
Price: OMR 22.000, in stock at our Muscat shop. Programming is quoted separately when you ask for it.
- One CAME TWIN remote control, in the version you choose
CAME lists a pack of two CR2016 batteries as a separate accessory, and does not say whether the batteries are fitted. We show you the remote and its cells when you collect it, and tell you which spares to keep.
What key code means on a CAME TWIN remote
CAME says the TWIN key code is the password code that protects the remote from being duplicated without authorisation. In an apartment block, many people carry a handset, and a handset that anyone can copy is a weak point. The key code is CAME’s answer to that.
CAME does not use the words rolling code or fixed code for this system, so we do not either. It also lists a TOP or TAM mode for the code setting, which can be configured through a gateway or locally with the CAME KEY.
Which receivers a CAME TWIN remote pairs with
The handset must meet a receiver that supports TWIN coding. CAME names these.
| Receiver or card | What it is |
|---|---|
| 001AF43TW | 433.92 MHz plug in radio card with key code |
| 001RE432M | Two channel surface receiver, IP54, up to 50 users |
| 001RBE42 | Four channel external radio module, IP54, 230 V |
| 001RBE4N | Four channel surface module, IP54, 12 to 24 V |
| 806RV-0020 (RBE4230) | Four channel multi user module, 120 to 230 V, up to 3,000 users |
| 806RV-0010 (RBE4024) | Four channel multi user module, 24 V, up to 3,000 users |
CAME describes key code only on the AF43TW card and does not describe it on the AF43S card used in several CAME kits, so we check before we pair a TWIN handset with an AF43S. Our CAME sliding gate motors list their cards in each product page.
CAME TWIN for apartment blocks and shared gates
The multi user modules store up to 3,000 users, which is far beyond a house. A block with hundreds of residents needs that memory, and a handset that resists copying.
| Your site | Our advice |
|---|---|
| A single family villa | A TOP handset is enough, TWIN is more than you need |
| A compound with many users | TWIN with a multi user module |
| An apartment block | TWIN, with the user memory counted first |
CAME TWIN two channel or four channel: which to choose
A channel is one button, and each channel can run a different gate or function. A two channel handset suits one gate and a pedestrian entrance. A four channel handset suits an entry gate, an exit gate, a garage door and a barrier from one remote.
| Your need | Choose |
|---|---|
| One gate and one extra function | 001TW2EE, two channel |
| Several gates, a barrier and a garage door | 001TW4EE, four channel |
Every channel you pair takes one place in that receiver’s memory. Tell us how many people use the site and we will say whether the memory is enough.
Programming a CAME TWIN remote in Muscat
A new handset must be taught to the receiver before it works. CAME describes remote configuration through a gateway or locally with the CAME KEY. Our engineers programme the handset in the shop or on site. Bring your old remote if you have one. If you have no working remote, the receiver can be put into learning mode, which we do on site.
Range, battery and the CAME TWIN in Omani heat
CAME lists a range of 50 to 150 metres. Real range depends on the site. Walls, a metal gate leaf, a parked car and radio noise all cut it down, so the position of the aerial matters more than the handset. CAME lists the TOP-A433N antenna and a cable for the receiver side.
The handset works from minus 20 to plus 55°C. A remote left on a car dashboard in summer can go above that, and the batteries lose life faster. Keep it in a bag or on a visor clip, out of direct sun. Weak range usually means tired batteries, so replace the two cells first.
What CAME does not state, and what we confirm
| What we confirm | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Your receiver supports TWIN coding | Decides whether the handset pairs |
| Whether the batteries are fitted | CAME lists them as a separate pack |
| The number of code combinations | CAME gives two different figures |
| Colour | CAME does not state it |
