Somfy Oman at Doors Auto means Somfy sliding gate motors, swing gate motors and garage door openers, plus the remotes, boards, photocells and other parts that keep them working. Every item is in stock at our shop in Al Khuwair, Muscat, and our own engineers fit and programme them across Oman.
Somfy builds its products around two radio systems, RTS and io homecontrol, and parts from one do not talk to the other. Three things decide what you need: the type of gate or door, the weight and size, and which radio system you already own.

Somfy RTS, io homecontrol and the TaHoma Switch
RTS is a one way radio on 433.42 MHz, and most of the gate and garage motors here use it. io homecontrol is a two way system on 868 to 870 MHz. The two never mix, and neither pairs with BFT, Nice or Came handsets.
The TaHoma Switch speaks RTS, io and Zigbee, so it can run both from one app. RTS is one way, so the app can send a command to a gate but cannot confirm the gate has moved.

Which Somfy product do I need for my gate or garage door?
Start with the job. A sliding gate needs an Elixo motor, a swing gate needs an Ixengo, a garage door needs a Dexxo, and spare handsets, photocells, boards and lamps are in the accessories. Tell us your gate and we name the product.
Will Somfy remotes work with a BFT, Nice or Came gate?
No. Somfy RTS transmits on 433.42 MHz with its own coding, so BFT, Nice and Came gates need a handset from their own brand, and a Somfy handset needs a Somfy receiver.
What is the difference between Somfy RTS and io homecontrol?
RTS is a one way radio on 433.42 MHz, used by most of the gate and garage motors here. io homecontrol is a two way system on 868 to 870 MHz. The two never mix, so check which one you own before you buy a handset.
What do Somfy products cost in Oman?
